Discovering Ancient Egypt
Artikel Design was engaged to assist in creating the Afterlife tomb facade, a prominent intricate backlit feature within the Discovering Ancient Egypt exhibition.
Artikel worked closely with the NMA and Exhibition designer Wendy Osmond to develop the illustration work on the facade and how this visual element translated into the CNC production and lighting process.
This process involved using reference material from the 'Book of the dead' and creating the vector-based artwork, taking into consideration the technical and structural requirements on the CNC process.
